Here I am, facing the night expecting hours of aches, pains and an overall shitty feeling throughout my body. My quest for pain relief is historic,  but now it's different. The IM testosterone shots seem to have halted the MAI. 40 pound weight loss in 10 weeks ... not a good thing.
The weight loss has ceased.

I've finally achieved a higher level of relief with Michigan's expanded medicine program, more than I ever felt with the vicodin, dilaudid or oxycontin. Thank you Michigan voters!

We survived the crazy 'Black Friday' follow up to the Thanksgiving feast.
I started the day feeling grateful that my hernia repair surgery is just days away - seems that the law prohibiting me from having it does not exist - that psysicians assistant has not heard the last of this. Cheryl helped me this morning with my testosterone shot ... the ladies have been a sport grabbing the muscle for me as I inject myself.
I just wish this nausea and dizziness would go away.

So much to be thankful for and still the wish list is long.

Go figure!

I was recently asked to go down memory lane, opening dusty, cracked jars filled with emotions and hurtful memories. Should you feel like a little read - so be it.
The video of my last public speaking "RED DOOR" event should be available soon.

I just heard, sady that a good man died recently. I worked for Lou back in the early days of the epidemic when we met at the ACT-UP demonstration - "DUMP WELLCOME" The action that actually STOPPED TRADING ON WALL STREET in response to Burroughs Wellcome gouging of AIDS patients who paid the ransome of over 10k a month for the drug AZT. I digress. Lou was a healer - a sinner - a gentleman & a pig! I loved him for that! So read on and share your own memory !http://www.gaycitynews.com/articles/2011/11/09/gay_city_news/community/doc4ebad41dc0263066347802.txt

disILLusioned? I think NOT!

Once again, the politicians seem to feel that they are the ones to lead ... after reading Romney's thoughts, I was just ill. He has an idea to give providers more of our taxpayer money, but fails miserably to address the quality & delivery of services! I will be posting some recent experiences I had at the CLARE VA Clinic that will amaze you! In the meantime, enjoy this.http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/11/romney-spit-balls-his-way-to-privatizing-veterans-benefits.php?ref=fpa

WELCOME!

In an attempt to expand my listeners, I've been prodded to create this blog & share what I know about HIV/AIDS. The facts are irrefutable and the opinions are my own.
I will attempt to provide balanced outbursts of disbelief on the state of prevention, care, protections and Government responses. I hope you find my 26 years of living with HIV informative, inspiring or just plain emotionally touching.
Blessings to you and yours,
Dino

The fundraising event here in Central Michigan was 'AIDS Walk' where I was the guest speaker. One of my dearest friends, Jay Blotcher took the time and wrote the most compelling speech for me. Being we've known each other for over 20 years, Jay's ability to know my words is uncanny and I love him!
Tell me what you think.
